On August 18 at 9:30 a.m., the UM Confucius Institute organized a Teaching Assistant (TA) Training Workshop for the 1st Semester of Academic Year 2022/2023. Professor Chen Zhong, Deputy Director of the UM Confucius Institute, Ms. Xue Lian, Instructor of the UM Confucius Institute, Ms. Cindy Koon, Secretary of the UM Confucius Institute, Ms. Chen Yiqi, Ms. Zhou Yuxuan and Ms. Ye Wuxia, the volunteer teachers of the Language Unity Center together with the 13 TAs participated in this workshop via online. The workshop was divided in different sections including an ice-breaking session, introduction of the Institute, experience sharing and working arrangement etc., to help them understand their role at the Institute and strengthen their sense of responsibility. The workshop laid a good foundation for the work in the new coming semester, and shown the vigorous development of the UM Confucius Institute.
