BACKGROUND

The Confucius Institute of the University of Macau (CIUM) organized its first graduation ceremony for the students who have completed the Mandarin courses on December 5, 2018. During the ceremony, CIUM announced the establishment of an alumni association and appointed Mr. Cho Hyung Je (Harry) to be the first president of the association. The association aims to provide a platform for fellow alumni and students to communicate in Chinese language and share their experience of Chinese language learning.

MISSION

  • To provide networking opportunities for alumni and students;
  • To provide opportunities for alumni and students to share their Chinese language learning experience; and
  • To participate in Chinese cultural events organized by CIUM.
