On November 24, Professor Xin Yongfen, from the College of Chinese Language and Literature, Henan University, was invited to give a lecture on the topic of “Phonetic modification of verbs and its morphological features in Chinese dialects” to 160 staff and students. Professor Chen Zhong chaired the seminar. Professor Xu Jie, Dean of FAH and Professor Xing Xiangdong from College of Arts, Shaanxi Normal University, attended the seminar.
