The UM Confucius Institute organized a Teaching Assistant (TA) Training Workshop for the 1st Semester of the Academic Year 2025/26 at 2:30 pm on August 15th. Professor Chen Zhong, Deputy Director of the Institute, Ms. Xue Lian, Instructor of the Institute, Ms. Cindy Koon, Secretary of the Institute and volunteer teachers from the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (Ms. Li Haoxuan, Ms. Ma Yue and Ms. Xie Yining) along with more than 10 teaching assistants participated in the Workshop. The Workshop aimed to assist the teaching assistants to quickly adapt to their roles, familiarize themselves with their responsibilities, and prepare to tackle the challenges of the new semester in the best possible condition. The training not only covered explanations of duties, detailed analysis of job requirements, Q&A sessions, and experience sharing but also incorporated hands-on practice and interactive testing sessions, allowing each teaching assistant to enhance their skills through practical exercises and immediate feedback.
