Certificate in Elementary Mandarin
This course introduces the basics of the Chinese language to students, addressing four areas of competence: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Particular emphasis is placed upon listening and oral skills. The goal of the course is to lay a solid foundation for further study of the language.

Certificate in Intermediate Mandarin
The intermediate course aims to enhance students’ skills and competence in using Chinese in different contexts. It will further strengthen linguistic competence in the four basic areas such as speaking, listening, reading and writing, with substantial emphasis placed upon developing oral communication skills and writing proficiency.
