On March 30, Professor Chen Ping from the School of Languages and Cultures, University of Queensland, Australia, was invited to give a lecture named “Proper names as referential devices in English and Chinese: A contrastive analysis” to students and teachers of the University of Macau. The seminar was hosted by Prof. Chen Zhong, Deputy Director of UM Confucius Institute.
