Macau, a central city connecting the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Greater Bay Area, serves as a bridge of cultural exchanges between China and western countries and an important channel for “Western Culture Spreading in China” and “Chinese Culture Spreading in the West”. The “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Chinese Opera Cultural Festival” adheres to the spirit of patriotism and love for Macao. Macau is a platform for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to promote the Chinese traditional culture, and Chinese Opera serves as a connection between Hong Kong and Macao compatriots, overseas Chinese, which can enhance the cultural identity and national self-confidence of the Chinese people.
