On June 25, a delegation from Shandong University of Technology, led by Du Fangling, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, visited the Confucius Institute at the University of Macau (UM). The delegation was warmly received by Professor Chen Zhong, Deputy Director of the Confucius Institute at UM, along with other members of the Institute, who exchanged dialogues with the delegation during the meeting.
During the meeting, Professor Chen provided a detailed introduction to the recent developmental achievements and distinctive projects of the Confucius Institute at UM. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as innovative talent cultivation models and academic research collaboration. Deputy Secretary Du Fangling expressed that the purpose of this visit was to gain a deeper understanding of the operational experience of the Confucius Institute at UM and to explore opportunities for collaboration between the two institutions in talent cultivation and interdisciplinary fields. He hopes to further expand and deepen the scope of cooperation based on the existing collaborative foundation, looking forward to continued exchanges and mutual development in the future.
